A Powerful Revelation

I was thinking today about a powerful revelation that changed my life and I want to share it with you.

Just about five years ago, I remember sitting at a doctor’s appointment having a 20-week anatomy scan for our twins. What should have been a routine ultrasound during our pregnancy turned into a very scary turn of events.

When the doctor checked me, he noticed I was having contractions and that I was going into preterm labor. I'll spare you the details, but immediately he started doing a series of interventions and put me on medication right away to stop the labor from progressing.

I remember sitting on the exam table shaking uncontrollably and I asked if I could go to the bathroom. I just needed a moment to calm myself down and get my eyes focused on Jesus. Once I closed the door to the bathroom, I just started calling out to the Lord — telling Him how afraid I was and that I really needed Him to show up.

I closed my eyes, held out my hands as a posture of surrender and waited for His response. It was like He looked me in the eyes and said, “Ashley, you're going to be okay. Those babies will live.

Once I heard His voice, I knew everything was going to be okay. Once I had a revelation that Jesus was there with me, I knew I had everything I needed.

Every doctor told me to prepare myself to have those babies very early. BUT GOD. I didn't deliver the twins until they were 34 weeks. It's a miracle that I cannot explain (nor can any of the doctors) without the supernatural power of God at work in the situation.

You may be going through a situation right now that seems impossible to overcome. Maybe you have exhausted every effort. Your money can't fix it. The people you love can't fix it. The doctor's can't fix it. Nothing can fix the problem but Jesus.

Let me tell you something…when Jesus is your only option, consider yourself blessed. You, my friend, are positioned for a miracle!

King David wrote this psalm and had a revelation that Jesus was all he needed. “You, LORD, are all I have and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands.” Psalm 16:5

My prayer for you today is that you would have a revelation that JESUS IS ALL THAT YOU NEED. Your future is in His hands. You can trust him.

He is the door you've been waiting to walk through.

He is the life you've been dreaming of.

He is the very cry of your heart.

He is the answer to every problem you will ever face.

When Jesus steps into your world, you have EVERYTHING you need!
